FAQS

Do I need to pay for my home physiotherapy sessions?

No. If you are an eligible Veteran Card holder, we bill the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) directly. There are no "gap" fees or out-of-pocket expenses for services covered by your card.

Do I need a GP referral before my first appointment?

Yes. To access DVA-funded physiotherapy, you must have a valid referral from your General Practitioner, medical specialist, or hospital discharge planner

How long does a DVA referral last?

Most referrals last for one "Treatment Cycle" (12 sessions or 1 year).
